This was my first visit with my wife, but probably her 3rd. I was impressed by the interior of the restaurant and its layout. It has a warm, relaxed, and comfortable atmosphere, but also a bit upscale as well. There was a guitar soloist … More

We really enjoyed our dinner here. It's a nice atmosphere - a bit rustic and a bit industrial. The beer selection was pretty good. However, the food matched with the prices were the star of the show. We were very pleased with our food and found the prices to be reasonable, which will definitely give us incentive to come back again!

From Ontario visiting the bike park. This restaurant is the town's best jewel. Food is out of this world, service is beyond excellent and has a great vibe and atmosphere. Would definitely eat here again without a doubt. Big kudos to the chef (the owner) and his wife.
Can't wait to eat here again.

Wow, who knew a lentil burger could taste so good! We sat at the bar and really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, from servers to bartender to customers. What a treasure of a restaurant! More

We made a reservation for a group of 20 and has a whole room reserved for us when we arrived. It was beautiful, spacious, and private. The staff was friendly and accommodating and did a wonderful job handling our large group. The food was amazing!! I got the ribeye and it’s worth it if that’s your thing. The desserts were also really tasty. There’s something for everyone here! We’ll definitely go again, and can’t wait for their outdoor seating because the view from their deck is beautiful!

Overall, I do want to say the meal was pretty good. At the end, when we paid for the check. It was extremely difficult to split between multiple people. We scanned a QR code and made it extremely complicated to divvy up the bill which is disappointing for a nice restaurant. Finally, when the waitress offered to void the charges (which was nice) and split it up evenly. When it was my turn to pay via Toast - I did tip (15%) which I thought was extremely fair considering the small portions and inconvenience it caused us - the waiter rolled her eyes at me because I did not give 20%+?
I will never be going here again even if it’s the best restaurant in the area. I work extremely hard for my money and I rate accordingly to my overall experience. It is sad to ruin a good meal with a tip amount (that is fair) and you don’t agree.

We visited Blue Rock with a group of 12 guests . Daniel , our server was exceptional. He was very personable, courteous and made excellent recommendations. We had a separate room just for us and the service was outstanding. The food came in a timely manner and was delicious. Some of us had appetizers, the entree and dessert. It was outstanding. Two of us had the venison and the meat was done just right and had a nice presentation on the plate. Any substitution of the starch or the vegetable was able to be satisfied. Cannot say enough good about this place. The food , service and atmosphere exceeded our expectations. Our reservation was confirmed approximately 1 week prior to our arrival. Very pleasant staff.

Menu is a mixture of cuisines, each dish creatively prepared, leaning toward farm-to-table. Very busy, so a reservation is needed. More

I'm torn on what to rate this place my first experience was above average my second experience was below average food and average service. I'm hoping the second time was just a fluke and I'm not watching a well respected local eatery slowly slip in to decline. I don't mind paying for quality but the picture of the food should speak for itself. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip for an app and I know this will hurt but Applebee's does a better job. A picture of the entree is below. I'm 4 scallops (which she didn't finish as they had an off flavor and color) at most a cup of rice and half an ear of corn for about $30 is pretty uninspiring. My pasta was good but nothing special for $27 not even an entire piece of sausage... Which seemed more like an andouille sausage than a hot Italian. Will probably give it another go based on my first experience and it's reputation in the area.

This is a lovely restaurant if you’re in the area! We didn’t have a reservation but the wait was only about 10 minutes. The restaurant also had a local florist that night with a Make Your Own Bouquet station that we thought was the cutest, you could even make your bouquet and bring it to your table! we got the ratatouille risotto and lamb lollipops and it was delicious, great service!

My husband, two teens and I had dinner there last night. It was a beautiful night and we had only called an hour and a half before for a reservation and got to sit on the porch overlooking the river. I had one of the best cocktails of my life, and our dishes were really good. We ordered the ribs with mashed potatoes, chicken enchiladas, the pork banh mi sandwich and a burger. The burger patty was a little on the small side, but the incredible fries made up for it. The decor and vibe inside looked really amazing. Want to go back and eat inside when it gets chilly out. Highly recommend.

I finally have found a bar to compete with Kipling's Tavern in Brattleboro for the best martini. I've just had a fantastic martini created by Ashley the bartender and it was delicious but Kiplings is still leading competition, blue rocket great atmosphere quality, liquor service and just a comfortable place in Shelburne Falls More

This place is a lovely spot for dinner. The ambiance is beautiful and the food is delicious. My only reason for the lower rating on service is that it took a whole hour for our food to come out and the place was not that busy. We had a reservation and we ordered very quickly after we were seated - we kept seeing other people’s food go out but not ours. The slow service resonated with the last time I ate here a couple of years ago but that particular night, the restaurant was very busy and it made sense.

October 2022: The steak was good and prepared perfectly medium rare. Panang curry was okay, mostly vegetables, my choice of protein was shrimp and there were fewer than I expected. Clam chowder was good. Ginger Ale had a funky flavor, if you like Canada dry this one has nothing in common with it other than color. However, my husband liked it, it had a juniper flavor he said.

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant. The staff here were very friendly and professional. The food and drinks were delicious. I suggest getting a reservation prior to going. I didn't have one but we made a gamble for someone not showing up.... and sometimes when you gamble, you win. We were able to get a table for 2. Parking is interesting with some street parking up front but a large lot in the back of the restaurant. I am looking forward to going back again soon!

Absolutely delicious! Great food next to a beautiful view of Shelburne. They also had some unique menu options, I had the stuffed quail. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. However do not come here if you’re looking for a cheap meal it is a bit pricey, but it was worth every penny in my opinion! We also got a root beer float that was very good!

Menu was great; lots of creative options and a well thought-out wine list with excellent variety. Our only complaint is that all our food was woefully understated: the ricotta dish, the salmon and the burger would have all greatly benefited from a good sprinkle of finishing salt.

Enjoyable restaurant in the heart of Shelburne Falls. Great atmosphere in an old timber building. Drinks and beer selection were great. The food was okay. The menu is quite long with a selection of American fare. The service was relaxed but friendly for a busy Saturday night. If you don’t care about turning tables over then neither should I.

Ordered takeout. The burger was ordered medium, but came well-done (see photos) and dangerously dry (I chugged a litre of water to get through half of the lackluster patty before giving up). With nothing else on the burger (other than a flavorless 'aoili') this was a serious letdown. The green curry rice bowl was a hot mess as well. The fries were ok (couldn't really tell the difference between truffled and regular, no truffle flavor to be found), but weirdly huge. Disappointing $40+.

The Blue Rock is lovely. Perched on a promontory overlooking the river, the dishes we had were well-conceived, perfectly cooked and presented. Cocktails were refreshing and flavorful.
We started with maiitake toast, which was gorgeous and in late September a great use of the wild-foraged bounty. We had the duck with cherries and pomegranate, perfectly-cooked, garnished with mashed potatoes and squash cooked two ways. The salmon with soubise sauce was nice (perhaps a tad more pureed onion would make it perfect?).
Because the Blue Rock is the only restaurant of its type open on a Monday, the staff was busy, and very friendly. We felt no pressure to turn the table over and it seemed that diners were happy to relax and converse over good food and drinks for the evening. We will definitely return to the Blue Rock. Reservations highly recommended.

This amazing restaurant is small and very busy so make reservations!! We had 4 people and got seated in a separate room which was wonderful! There are oriental rugs hanging on the walls and just the right amount of lighting. The music was great and had us all bopping along. The food was AMAZING! I will definitely come again! Prices were not higher than I would expect for such high quality and amazing atmosphere! I would definitely consider them for a small party in that room!! Only things I can say they could do for improvement... The waiter we had was filling in and didn't seem to know the menu too well and I would have ordered a different meal if he had told me the eggs were still runny on the steak (my husband got it and I ate half of his!! The steak with quail eggs is sublime! And with delicious mashed potatoes and squash and corn on the cob!); And they need more/better parking especially for those people who have trouble walking. You can park in the lot above but then would have to walk down a huge set of stairs. Only one handicap parking spot. I need to point out that they are one of the few places in the area with a handicap ramp! Just get someone to drop you off before parking and hopefully it's not too busy! Overall I rate this place among one of the best places when u combine atmosphere, view, and food. Oh almost forgot... Ghostface Killah drink is a killer 🤣
